Bucktown Academy is seeking warm and energetic teachers for our Saplings preschool classroom (ages 3-5), and our Sprouts Jr. Pre-K classroom (ages 2-3). Responsibilities are to organize classroom activities, support/assist lead teacher, set-up/clean-up classroom, work with students one-on-one, and interact daily with parents. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and being part of a team. Early childhood experience is needed. We are a small and stress-free school with a small student to teacher ratio. This is a great learning environment for anyone who wants to teach in the early childhood field. The position starts the second to last week of August 2024. Students start the last week of August. Please only respond if you are passionate about early childhood and have experience working with children ages 3-5 or 2-3. Salary based on experience and credentials.
Two Available Positions: (please indicate which job you are interested in)
- Teacher Assistant Saplings Pre-K (Ages 3-5) hours 8:00am-1:30pm. This position follows an academic calendar so TA's will work from the end of August until June. Summer job opportunities available.
- Teacher Assistant Sprouts Jr. Pre-K (Ages 2-3) hours 8:30am-2:00pm. This is a year-round position.
